Programme Development

Competence at Work (CAW) recognises the changing needs of its clients. We continually develop tailored services in response and deliver high quality cost effective programmes designed to address individual client needs. Our team of consultants works with our clients to identify and evaluate their needs to develop programmes that are specific to the organisation.

CAW draws on the experiences of our consultants who have worked in the public, private and voluntary sector to design and implement programmes based on best practice. Our experienced staff offer excellent communication and management skills, and adhere to a strategic management plan and benchmarks quality where the needs of our clients are central.

Recent programme development includes:

  • working with the Learning and Skills Council (LSC) in the East of England to draw best practice from the local Employer Training Pilots (ETP) to develop an implementation plan for  Train to Gain at regional level;
  • mapping existing brokerage provision and database systems and processes across the East of England to support the development of regional brokerage and Information Technology systems;
  • working with the LSC nationally to review training arrangements across a range of designated professional sports, identifying good practice and areas of common delivery of sports training and designing a revised Modern Apprenticeship Framework for Professional Sports;
  • developing a series of Equality and Diversity workshops for LSC Essex to increase awareness and explore the opportunities and issues faced by those who work directly with providers; and
  • reviewing the operation of the LSC's Health and Safety and seeking assurance systems at local, regional and national level.

Through shared goals and expectations we deliver outcomes in a format that will benefit our clients in the short and longer term.
