Partnership Development

The terms collaboration, consortia and partnership working have become common terminology in recent years and they been largely interchangeable whether in Government departments, local authorities, education and business, the National Health Service or in crime reduction. Organisations are becoming less insular - and beginning to recognise that, in the current climate, there is a need to pool resources to achieve success.

Establishing effective partnerships requires deft strategic management, reasoned vision and a commitment to achieving success from all partner organisations. Basic principles, vision and strategy need to be understood at all levels, and become an integral component of the partnership’s development.

But there are potentially many pitfalls and problems to overcome in developing a successful partnership that brings together different people and organisational ethos and values.

CAW has worked with public, private and not-for-profit organisation to help:

  • bring training providers and colleges together in consortia or partnerships to bring success in delivering existing contracts more cost-effectively and with winning tenders that would not have been possible, or feasible, for small organisations to deliver.
  • reduce the overheads of contract management and develop a more strategic approach to training delivery which is channelled through a smaller number of more influential, and strategic, partnerships.

CAW always works with our clients to establish effective working partnerships. We provide a broad range of skills and consultancy to deliver genuine benefits to client organisations. And, frequently, CAW works in partnership with other organisations to ensure our client’s specific needs are met.
