1. Identify and map all forms of brokerage offered in support of the broad skills agenda across the East of England region.
2. Identify and describe the stakeholder and partner networks that exist across the East of England region.
3. Identify and describe the 'database and data sharing' systems and processes that exist across the East of England region and those which are being developed to support the implementation of Train to Gain either nationally or regionally.
4. Evaluate these systems and processes and propose options for supporting the implementation of Train to Gain in terms of brokerage activity in terms of brokerage activity in Year 1. |

Developing Key Skills Strategy and Implementation Plan |

Project Aim |
Provide consultancy support to the Vocational Training Centre of Excellence in Hereford (VTCE) to help it establish a framework for delivery of Key Skills as part of its Care Modern Apprenticeship programmes (the project).
Help VTCE develop Key Skills systems, processes and materials to enable it to meet the LSC's delivery standards requirement by May 2002. Initially, VCTE sought financial support for full-time or part-time staff from the LSC, but the latter has provided minimal funding to buy in consultancy time to develop the required programme.
